Kallie // Just For Fun
January 28, 2012
Well, confession time. A photography friend of mine and I went on a photo shoot together about a year ago and I got ultra busy and totally forgot I even had taken the pictures (oops!). So, I found them and was really confused as to why I never edited them. Kallie – I’m ridiculously sorry for making you wait this long to see them! You can check her photography out at http://kallieballphotography.blogspot.com/ and she is definitely an up and coming photographer in the Idaho Falls area. Here’s a few from the wintery shoot. (:
Mike & Shasta // South Eastern Idaho Wedding
January 22, 2012
Well, firstly, let me apologize for not keeping you guys up to date on photography! I’m excited to get some new stuff on here for all of you.So, about this wedding.. Well, what can I say. I love this couple and their humor. This shoot was so simple and fun and I honestly felt like I wasn’t even taking pictures, but rather just having conversations and laughing. They were so sweet, and a pleasure to shoot. It was such a special day and it was an honor and an absolute joy to be there! From a photographic standpoint, I felt like the skies were especially blue this day (it happens quite a bit) (; and as a result I was able to capture those really cool, crisp tones. So… Without further a due, here’s Mike & Shasta’s day –
A Simple Reminder
November 6, 2011
As some of you may have noticed, I’ve placed a tree in my header. This tree isn’t simply up there for aesthetic reasons, but as a reminder of a sacrifice. A man named Jesus died upon a tree 2,ooo years ago for you and me. He loves us so much that he took his life for our sake. When we fail, mess up, hate, gossip, lie, slander, steal and cheat, His sacrifice stands, already having conquered our sin today, tomorrow and forever. Jesus was perfect — as a lamb being sent to the slaughter. Because He never knew sin, at the cross, sin was conquered and the religious institutions that kept all non-Jews out of a relationship with God were abolished. In Him we can start a new beginning, and because of this sweet sacrifice, you and me can take hold of a new freedom. A freedom only found through Jesus. So my prayer is that every time you come to this blog, you are reminded of Jesus. Reminded of the tree, and of redemption’s hill. And as you glance through my photography, be reminded that this life is beautiful and that his creations — you and me, are wonderfully made. But also be reminded that there is a bigger picture God has in store for us. A picture full of freedom, and a life filled with love, mercy and compassion! My prayer for you is that you find this love, and in the end, that I can capture that beauty and love on the outside! Have a blessed night everyone (: – Andrew

Megan // Senior Shoot
November 5, 2011
Megan is such an awesome girl. I’m so happy I had the privilege of doing her pictures. I was so thrilled with the way these turned out, and I knew right from the start that the locations we found were going to translate into quality pictures. She definitely has a bright future ahead, and I pray that the Lord blesses her in her endeavors in college and beyond. Enjoy (:
